Raipur,Chattisgarh, June 23: Health Department of Chhattisgarh Government has formally launched the Hospital Based EMTs project. These projects will be undertaken by the EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) of GVK EMRI 108 Sanjeevani Express.
The launch function was organized at SHRC. The Chief Guest for the function was Sh. Pratap Singh, IFS. Commissioner Health and Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh, accompanied by guest of honors Dr Kamalpreet Singh, IAS, Director Health Services, Government of Chhattisgarh, and Sh. Ananda Babu, IFS, Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Chhattisgarh.
Chief Guest, Sh. Pratap Singh, IFS. Commissioner Health and Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh said, “GVK EMRI 108 sanjeevani express services are serving the humanity with their good deed. This is one more feather in their cap. And we assume that this project will also yield good results in health care delivery system.”
Explaining about the project, Shri K Suresh, Operations Head, GVK EMRI said, “This project is an initiative of the Government of Chhatisgarh, to improve the delivery of health system in the state. In this project the EMTs will remain in the hospitals under the supervision of senior doctors and will assist them in the emergency cases. Also they will be helping in the time of calamities and disasters. This service is started only in Chhatisgarh as of now.”

In this launch function the EM Care awards to the best EMT and the best Pilot for the month of May 2012 was also distributed. The launch function was attended by the team of GVK EMRI. The guest of honors also appreciated the services of 108 and given EM care awards to life saviors. This project will help the health care industry in smoothening of the delivery systems for the emergency services.
